Welcome to Piano with Angela
I welcome all ages and abilities, from small children through to adults, and adapt lessons accordingly, with lot's of play and exploration for the younger students. I teach a lovely note reading scheme called animalnotes which is very similar to the jolly phonics scheme taught in a lot of infant schools - Every note is an animal and has a story that gets the youngest of pianists reading music in no time!
My student's all have the opportunity to study for Grades with the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music, in both piano and music theory.
However, Exams are totally optional.
I take the lead from each individual student as you what music they would like to play - so no two musical journey's are the same.
£15 per half hour lesson
I have been playing the piano since I was a small child, and have been teaching for over 20 years, in addition to playing piano at weddings and events throughout the North East.
I teach from home in Auckland Park, with times available during the day and also evenings.
